We are delighted that Ofsted has rated our services as “Good” following the publication of its report in January 2018.
Here are some of the highlights from our latest Ofsted report in October 2020 following a focussed visit to Rotherham.
the voice of the child is a strength in assessments and influences care planning
early help services and children’s social care are integrated, promoting positive working relationships and a clear understanding of thresholds
risks associated with child exploitation are well recognised. This enables children to receive an appropriate level of support and intervention
there is robust oversight of children in pre-proceedings stage of Public Law Outline processes that ensures there is no delay in decision making
children in care are seen regularly by social workers who know them well
young people spoke highly of the support they had received
managers have oversight at key decision making points in a child's life
senior leaders know the service well
effective systems are in place to ensure that staff can work from home effectively
staff welfare has been, and continues to be, a priority - all workers spoken to feel well supported
