Guide to Your Home

This comprehensive guide provides essential information about your tenancy agreement. It outlines your rights and responsibilities as a tenant, covering topics such as:

  • Tenancy types
  • Rent payment
  • Repairs and maintenance
  • Antisocial behavior
  • Moving in and out of your home
  • Home improvements

You have certain rights as a tenant, such as the right to buy the property you're living in, and the right to have repairs done to the property if they are needed. You also have certain responsibilities, such as paying your rent on time, looking after the property, and behaving in a way that doesn't disturb your neighbors.

If you're having problems with your tenancy, you can contact your landlord or council. They will be able to help you sort out any issues you're having.
