Improvements at a glance
• Upgrade and modernise exhibition spaces with a focus on sustainability, renewables and climate change

Details of proposal
The four galleries of Air, Earth, Fire and Water will be upgraded with exciting new and interactive exhibits with each gallery having a new centrepiece. All areas will have new signage and LED lighting to reduce the buildings overall carbon footprint.
In addition, infrastructure will be upgraded to provide new lifts, reception areas, a new shop, kitchens and café.
The outdoor play areas of Sci-Tek and Aqua-Tek will also be refurbished.
