Thrybergh Country Park

Project: Thrybergh Country Park improvement scheme
Construction: 2025/26

Improvements at a glance

  • Improve the hospitality offer, with a modern and fresh café.
  • New high quality public realm and seating areas with views across the park and the lake will enhance the attractive and peaceful setting for visitors and promote enjoyment of the outdoors.

Details of proposal

To improve the facilities at Thrybergh Country Park the existing café will be upgraded and modernised providing a more sustainable and accessible building for all users, alongside renewed public spaces with additional seating and shelter and improved landscaping.

A masterplan for the site is being developed to build on the initial Levelling Up investment. Future development will support the parks ethos as a ‘centre of excellence’ for outdoor learning with additional on-foot accessibility to the park, improved footpaths and increased play opportunities throughout the wider site.
