Apply to trade at a farmers market

To be considered a farmers' market, the Council requires that:

  • Producers must be local, normally within 30 miles of the market

  • Producers must sell their own produce or have used a minimum of one local ingredient

  • The person behind the stall must be the producer, a close family member or an employee directly involved with production - this allows customers to ask questions about how the goods were produced

The town centre (Effingham Street) farmers' market is usually held on the last Wednesday of the month.

If you would like to trade in this market, please contact us.
