Tenancy Support
A specialist team that helps RMBC tenants only, access financial support to sustain a tenancy. The tenancy support team can help you address any problems early on and therefore it is important that you speak to us should you experience any difficulties.
Helps the customer by:
- Advice or support to address debt
- Claim the right benefits
- Budgeting support and advice
- Employment support referral
- Set up or change gas and electric suppliers
- Mental health or addiction support referral

Employment Support
A motivated team that help all people within Rotherham gain employment, education, or training. This support is not restricted to RMBC council tenants, the support is for anybody living within Rotherham and meets the criteria below.

Income Pre-Tenancy
A knowledgeable team that completes affordability assessments with every prospective council tenant before they are offered a property.
Helps the customer by:
- Accurate spending habits and current income
- Identifying budget weakness
- Maximise any forms of income
- Refer to support tenancy is sustainable
