RotherFed are offering new community-based drop-in session through the Open Arms Community Support Hubs.

A range of local voluntary and community groups, including RotherFed, Citizens Advice, Laser Credit Union, and Voluntary Action Rotherham, have partnered to develop and deliver a co-ordinated response to support communities most affected by the cost of living crisis.

RotherFed’s Community Engagement team and advisers will deliver information, advice and guidance ‘at venues across the borough, right in the heart of the community. Residents will be able to access support with a strong focus on financial and social inclusion, empowering communities with a foundation of support, and making better use of community assets.

Each hub will have a drop-in session throughout the day every fortnight.

The project has been made possible by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, part of the national government’s Levelling Up agenda, which was successfully secured by Rotherham Council and South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority.
