Once again, we've seen many fantastic results from children across Rotherham and it is heartening to see a number of areas of strong positive progression across Rotherham schools.
Their dedication, especially in the face of the challenges over recent years, is truly admirable.”
Cllr Cusworth also praised the efforts of the teachers and school staff. "Our schools have shown great commitment to helping students reach their full potential. The guidance and encouragement provided by teachers have been invaluable, and these results are a reflection of their dedication."
Looking to the future, Councillor Cusworth emphasised the importance of continued support for young people as they move on to the next stages of their education, training or employment journey.
She said: "As our students take their next steps, it’s important that we continue to provide them with the opportunities and support they need to succeed in whatever they choose to do."
"Support is available in school on next steps for young people who haven't achieved the results they were expecting. - time is still on your side - and there are plenty of options still open to you to get to where you want to be."
