Libraries across Rotherham will host their first ever charity 'Mass Coffee Morning'

A total of fifteen libraries across the borough are inviting people of all ages to join them for a hot drink, a sweet treat and a chat on 7 December, with proceeds going to Bluebell Wood.

Anna Gott, Community Fundraiser at Bluebell Wood, said: “We’d love as many people as possible to join us at one of Rotherham’s many brilliant libraries for our Mass Coffee Morning.

“It’s the perfect opportunity to catch up with old friends and new over a cuppa while raising funds to support local children and families who are going through the toughest of times.”

As well as raising funds for an amazing local charity, the morning will also showcase all that Rotherham’s many libraries have to offer.

Judy France, Team Leader for Rotherham Libraries and Neighbourhood Hubs, said: “We are so pleased to be able to support the amazing work that Bluebell Wood do by holding coffee mornings simultaneously in all of our 15 libraries. We’re looking forward to working with Bluebell Wood to put on a great community event for a fantastic cause.”

The Mass Coffee Morning will take place on Saturday 7 December between 10am and 12noon in Libraries across Rotherham at: Aston, Brinsworth, Dinnington, Greasbrough, Kimberworth, Kiveton Park, Maltby, Mowbray Gardens, Rawmarsh, Swinton, Thorpe Hesley, Thurcroft, Wath, Wickersley and Riverside in the town centre.
