Keeping Bramley Tidy!

Bramley litter pick 270622

Councillors, the Neighbourhoods Team, St. Francis Church and McDonald's Bramley work together to keep Bramley tidy.

Following the success of April's litter pick, Councillor Mills, Councillor Reynolds and Neighbourhood Coordinator Nicola joined forces with Bramley St. Francis Church to clean up some local litter hotspots.

This time they were joined by staff from Bramley McDonalds.

The group picked up litter along Main Street, Bawtry Road and the paths at the bottom of Flash Lane playing fields leading towards Bramley Morrisons. Bawtry Road was significantly cleaner than in April, so thank you to everyone who has helped to keep this stretch tidy and has disposed of litter responsibly.

A BIG THANK YOU to Judy and Chris from the church, and to Andy and his team from McDonalds for working with us to collect around 10 sacks of litter and some fly-tipped items.

If you'd like to get involved in our next Community Litter Pick in Bramley, scheduled for Thursday 8th September at 10am, please contact either the Neighbourhood Coordinator, Nicola, or your Councillors Mills and Reynolds using their contact details that can be found on the ward page.

Residents are welcome to turn up on the day, but letting us know you will be attending in advance really helps to ensure that we have the right amount of equipment available.

If you are part of a group who would like to lead on a litter pick in your neighbourhood, you can find out more on the Love Where You Live website.
