On 1 September, St Leonard’s Church in Thrybergh will welcome its new Curate Reverend Helen Terry, who is the new Curate in Charge of Bramley and Thrybergh.
Reverend Helen will be formally installed by the Bishop of Sheffield, the Right Reverend Dr Pete Wilcox on Sunday 4 September.
The service begins at 9.30am and local residents are invited to come along and meet the new vicar.
St Leonard’s Church is a Grade 2 listed church and serves the community of Thrybergh, as part of the Church of England Diocese of Sheffield.
People have been worshiping at the church for over 1,000 years, with worship held every Sunday at 9.30am. The Church is open to visitors every Monday from 10am until 2pm and holds regular events including coffee mornings every Friday in the Church Hall and the Little Lions playgroup every Tuesday during term time.
