Bramley Parish Council host their Community Cafe every Wednesday 10am-12pm at the Bill Chafer Centre on Flash Lane and everyone is welcome! Expect a warm welcome and friendly folk.
Bramley Community Cafe
On Wednesday 14th December, Cllr Lewis Mills and Cllr Greg Reynolds attended the weekly Community Cafe the Bill Chafer Centre.
Lewis and Greg also met with the new PCSO, Dave Wright, who will be working with us in Bramley and Ravenfield. Dave brought along a selection of free target hardening and crime prevention resources, including TV simulators, purse bells, card protectors and vibration sensors.
The cafe runs 10am-12pm and is a brilliant place to meet up with friends for a cuppa, come in out of the cold, or sample some homecooked food, whether it's cake, or bacon butties!
Lewis commented, “It’s a great way to get speaking with local people about local issues."
Greg added, “Community Coffee Mornings are worth their weight in gold. The people that attend have a warm and safe space to chat to meet new people.”
Thank you to Bramley Parish Council for starting something great and always allowing Lewis, Greg and the Neighbourhoods team the opportunity to work with you, so that together we can make the local community an even better place to live.
