A new audio post has been installed on Keppel’s Field, close to the column.
Visitors will be able to access audio recordings from an oral history project that was developed, as part of the reopening of Keppel's Column last year.
Those visiting the site can sit on the benches and listen to a selection of stories about Keppel’s Column and the local area, which have been uploaded onto the audio post. New stories can also be added to the audio post in the future.
The audio post was funded by Rotherham Council.
