The formal notice of the by-election has now been published, and potential candidates have until 4pm on Friday 6 October to submit their nomination papers.

Residents in the Kilnhurst & Swinton East ward have until midnight on Tuesday 17 October 2023 to register to vote if they are not already on the electoral register.
