Bramley has an old village centre surrounded by more densely populated suburbs such as Flanderwell, Sunnyside and Ravenfield Common. The village contains a multitude of buildings of different eras, stone built, brick built and wooden, which all add to the general character of the village. The village has various shops including a bakers, clothes shop, hairdressers, takeaways, pubs and a general store.
