To actively support the needs of disabled people, bearing in mind that in some cases they are unable to use public transport and are entirely dependent upon the use of a car.
To actively discourage indiscriminate parking as this can cause obstruction to other motorists, pedestrians, cyclists and disabled people and negatively contribute to congestion
To actively support Local Transport Plan targets and objectives and to help fulfil the requirements of The Traffic Management Act 2004, in particular those helping to reduce congestion and improving road safety
