We are here to enable you to meet the statutory requirements of the Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974.
We offer model risk assessment, training materials, emergency planning information and training dates. We cover associated regulatory requirements such as;
- Fire Safety
- Construction
- Design and Technology
- Science
- Curriculum associated risks
All our staff are experienced Health & Safety Practitioners. They all hold IOSH / NEBOSH qualifications and undertake continuous Professional development.
Our Resilience Officers offer help and guidance on Emergency Planning and Business Continuity.
The team have a role as a 'Category 1' responder (under the requirements of the Civil Contingencies Act 2004).
Our Emergency and Safety Team achieved Beacon Council Status in 2007-2008. This was in recognition of its work and contribution, both locally, regionally and nationally.
