Use this form to report a dead animal on a road, pavement or footpath
We cannot remove dead animals from private land or domestic properties
Domestic pets are kept for 7 days to give the owners the opportunity to collect them. Unclaimed pets are collected by the pet crematorium
If you are reporting a dead swan, please contact DEFRA on 03459 335577, or report this online through the link below:
DEFRA will arrange collection and appropriate testing of the swan.
