Motorway traffic signals

Motorway signals are not the responsibility of Rotherham Council. The signals are the responsibility of National Highways.

This includes M1 Junction 31 Aston, M18 Junction 1 Bramley, and M1 Junction 33 Catcliffe.

You can contact National Highways via:

  • Email: YNEROC.DutyManager@nationalhighways.co.uk
  • Telephone: 01924 243858

Private temporary traffic signals

Temporary traffic signals can only be reported if they are managed by Rotherham Council.

The majority of temporary traffic signals are owned and managed by private utility companies or contractors.

You can find out which contractor is responsible for the temporary lights using the one.network map.
