Ickles Roundabout
Essential to highway network connectivity, Ickles Roundabout could be modernised to meet the local population’s changing needs.
There is an opportunity to lower congestion at the roundabout, while opening up travel options and reducing traffic in local neighbourhoods.
The current pedestrian and cyclist crossings are prone to anti-social behaviour and the proposed scheme would look to improve pedestrian and cyclist safety and promote active travel through safer crossings, linking up with the recently completed Sheffield Road Cycleways scheme.
A public consultation on proposed changes takes place later in 2025.
