Accessibility statement

What we are doing to improve accessibility

We are audited for accessibility by Silktide and Government Digital Services.

Our daily workflow includes accessibility checks using the WAVE Web Accessibility Evaluation Tool

Our Silktide report gives us recommendations on how to fix accessibility issues. We will deal with serious issues first.

Our website is built and hosted through third party software. In some instances, we may need to work with our third party software provider in order to solve accessibility issues.

Preparation of this accessibility statement

This statement was prepared on 11/07/2020. It was last reviewed on 01/09/2020.

This website was last tested on 20/08/2020. The test was carried out by Silktide.

About the test

Silktide conduct a breadth-first scan of the first 125 pages in each website, starting from our homepage.

Pages are chosen as follows:

example.com/page

would be tested before

example.com/page/subpage

  1. Pages with fewer forward slashes in their URL are tested first. e.g.
  2. Where pages have the same number of slashes, the pages which were encountered first on each page are tested first. e.g. links displayed at the top of the homepage, followed by links lower down, and so on.

This has the effect of testing high-level pages first, before going deeper into our website.
