We can request deductions from following benefits to clear your Council Tax arrears:
- Employment Support Allowance
- Income Support
- Job Seekers Allowance
- Pension Credit Guarantee Credit
- Universal Credit
However this can only be done where:
- A Liability Order has been granted by the Magistrates Court
- The benefit claimant is named on the Liability Order
If your request is not appropriate we will contact you to discuss this matter further. If however your request is appropriate we will contact the DWP to ask for weekly deductions to be made.
