Please use this form to request to end your Council tenancy.
You must provide 4 weeks’ notice to end your tenancy. If you are submitting this termination notice on any day other than a Monday, your notice will start from the following Monday.
Your notice will become effective when your completed form is received, along with all relevant supporting documentation. We will write to you to confirm when the tenancy ends and when you must hand in the property keys.
The tenancy will not be considered terminated until a member of our team has called you to confirm your details. If a member of our team does not get in touch with you within ten working days of sending this form, please get in touch by using our online form.
You will be required to pay your rent until the end of your tenancy, please be aware that if you leave the Council owing debts, you may not be able to re-join the housing register.
