About your request
We can issue an Attachment of Earnings Order to your employer which obliges them to make deductions from your earnings to clear your Council Tax.
However this can only be done where:
- A Liability Order has been granted by the Magistrates Court
- The employed person is named on the Liability Order
Deductions would be made from your wages at a percentage specified by the Government
If your request is not appropriate we will contact you to discuss this matter further. If however your request is appropriate we will issue the Attachment of Earnings to your employer and send a copy to you.
