Reapply for my Rothercard
Your Rothercard expiry date can be found on the front of the card.
Rothercards usually expire after 12 months unless you:
Applied for a Rothercard before 31st March 2023 as:
- A person aged 60 or over – in which case your card will have a 5 year expiry date
- A young person aged 16-19 in full time education – in which case your card will expire on your 20th birthday
Applied for a Rothercard from 1st April 2023 as:
- A person aged between 16-20, in which case your card will expire on your 21st birthday.
- Someone in receipt of Council Tax support who had already reached State Pension age – in which case your card has no expiry date
We will automatically notify you around a month before your card expires providing we have your email details on our records.
You will need to reapply for a new card which means you will need to meet the eligibility requirements in place at the time.
