Apply for free school meals
Before you apply, you will need to provide the following information:
- Your contact details
- Your date of birth and national insurance details or Home Office Reference (formerly NASS / AS reference)
- Your partners details (if applicable)
We will check your entitlement against the Department for Education (DfE) database.
Please apply once your child has started school, or no earlier than 14 days before their start date. This allows us to assess your entitlement as close as possible to the date the meals would begin.
