The Policy and Research team are responsible for providing corporate functions for the Council.
These functions are:
- Developing the corporate plan and policy framework
- Providing policy briefings, parliamentary and legislation analysis and policy reviews
- Providing support to the Rotherham partnership in developing the community strategy
- Development and delivery of cross cutting policies and initiatives
- Maximising funding into the borough and supporting funding bids
- Providing information for the Joint Strategic Needs Assessment to assist in determining local priorities
- Supporting partner agencies with research and statistics
