Invitation to bid for an age-related benefit advisory service to Rotherham residents aged over 65

Rotherham Council are seeking to award a grant to a voluntary community service (VCS) organisation to provide age related benefits advice to residents of Rotherham borough aged over 65 years of age for three years starting in September 2024. (2024/25, 2025/26 and 2026/27).

The service will support both council tenants and other low-income residents who are aged 65 and over to maximise their income by ensuring the take up of all eligible benefits, Attendance Allowance and Pension Credit. This service will be offered to Council tenants and those on a low income across the entire Rotherham Borough.

Annual Budget available

An annual budget of £60,000 has been agreed.
