What you can do with a Shared Lives Carer
It all starts with you and what you want to do, we would help you to plan what your shared lives support would look like. For example you might want to:
- learn a new sport like badminton
- go and watch your local football team
- have a go at jewellery making
- visit a café and enjoy a drink and a meal
- get help with finding a job
- and even share your support with a friend
Shared Lives can also help you learn new skills for the future so you can become more independent.
You can make new friends as we have events throughout the year, where you can join in with activities and meet other Shared Lives carers and who they support.
