What to do if you have problems accessing Your Account

Sign-up and password reset problems

If you have not received your sign-up or password reset email:

  1. check your spam folder for emails from no-reply@rotherhamcouncil.org.uk
  2. If the email is not in your spam folder, try to register or reset your password again. The confirmation email may go to your spam folder.
  3. If you have still not received a confirmation email and you have another email address, please try and register with the alternative email address.

When choosing your password, make sure that it is:

  • is at least 8 characters long
  • has a mixture of upper and lower case characters (at least one of each)
  • has at least one number
  • has at least one special character that is neither a letter or number, e.g. ! @ £ ? #

Make sure that it is Your Account you need

Housing-related services such as rent payment and repair reporting can be completed through Housing Online rather than the council's Your Account,
