Ways to pay
24 hour online payment service
We offer a 24 hour online payment service for customers wishing to make a payment by debit card, credit card or paypal.
Direct Debit
The most convenient way to pay is by Direct debit.
If you would like to set up a direct debit, please contact our Sundry Accounts team on 01709 336075.
Online Banking
If you manage your banking online, you may be able to pay make a payment directly to the council by using the following details.
Sort Code: 30-80-12
Account Number: 26467460
You must include your invoice reference in the reference field to ensure that the payment goes onto your account.
Automated payment system
You can also make a payment using a credit or debit card by using our automated payment system. The automated payment system is available 24 hours a day.

Once you have dialled our automated payment number you will need to press the option for "Sundry Accounts" once you have done his please enter your invoice reference number.
Please be aware that any calls to this number will be charged at your local rate.
In person
Payments can also be made in person free of charge at any shop or store displaying the Pay Point logo or at any Post Office.
You will need to take the invoice with you so that the barcode can be scanned.

You should allow 5 working days for any payments to be received and to reach your account.

Cheques can be made payable to "Rotherham Borough Council" and sent to:

Please write your name, address, and invoice number on the reverse side of the cheque.
