The aforementioned party will not publish, nor allow anyone else to publish, any part of the information provided without written permission from Rotherham BRC, unless such use is stipulated in paragraph 1.
The aforementioned party will not pass any part of the information supplied by Rotherham BRC to any third party without written permission from Rotherham BRC.
Where information supplied by Rotherham BRC is marked as confidential, the aforementioned party will respect that confidentiality and will not divulge the information but only refer to it in general terms.
Rotherham BRC reserves the right to withhold confidential information.
The aforementioned party shall only retain the information supplied by Rotherham BRC for the period of the aforementioned project or for one year, whichever period is the shorter. Any further use of that information will require further written permission from Rotherham BRC.
Rotherham Biological Records Centre will be acknowledged in any published or written work incorporating information supplied by Rotherham BRC.
The supply of information from Rotherham BRC does not in any way affect the copyright and intellectual property rights of the originators of that information. Their individual contributions may be substantial enough to require acknowledgement in any published or written work.
Any original data arising from surveys or monitoring carried out by the aforementioned party, will be shared with and submitted to Rotherham BRC. (Please note that in the case of Protected Species, this is a condition of the issue of a licence). Please submit in electronic format compatible with Recorder 6 import, preferably as an Excel spreadsheet.
Rotherham BRC will charge £146.90 per hour (minimum charge) plus £73.50 for each additional 30mins or part thereof (+ VAT at the prevailing rate) for the supply of the requested information. This charge may be waived by agreement in advance if the information is to be used for educational or research purposes. Due to the part time nature of the service and other prevailing circumstances (holidays etc), full responses to search requests may take up to two working weeks.
Rotherham BRC will accept submission of a completed application for data, whether it is performed online or otherwise, as confirmation to proceed with the requested search.
Rotherham BRC reserves the right to impose any other conditions on the provision and use of the information supplied.
