2024 to 2025 Delivery

This year Rotherham Healthy Holidays programme commissioned a total of 213 activities that were made accessible across the Rotherham Borough, with over 7,200 children in attendance.

We offered support to providers to enhance and strengthen their provision for 2024-2025, this included in house support and working in partnership with other organisations to deliver programmes at a high standard.

This year the clubs have offered a diverse range of activities such as sports, drama, dance, African drumming, arts and crafts, photography film making, a trip to Gulliver’s Valley, BMX cycling, parkour, trips to Crowden Activity Centre, arts activities with Children’s Capital of Culture and first aid activities. These activities supported young people in learning new skills and offered educational activities such as, understanding nutritional benefits, learning new recipes and an understanding of physical and mental wellbeing. The Winter holiday programme offered a slightly different provision as we commissioned pantomimes, festive family days and food hampers in addition to the standard Rotherham programmes.
