Do I need to pay for temporary accommodation?
Rotherham Council charges a nightly charge for temporary accommodation which will be covered by Housing Benefits if you claim benefits. The Council will help you to make a Housing Benefit claim, however it is your responsibility to ensure that you complete this claim. You may be asked to pay a contribution towards this depending on your income. We will discuss this with you and let you know how to pay and the cost.
