Housing options

Homeless support accommodation

Supported accommodation is a short to medium term housing option to help people to live as independently as possible, whilst providing support. People receive support to get better skills in living independently, so that when they move into their own secure and permanent accommodation, they will be able to manage. Some of the supported accommodation properties are specific to people with different needs, such as prison leavers, ex-offenders, young parents, and young people.

We work with different supported accommodation providers. Most of these will need a referral from the Homeless Team or other support agency such as prison and mental health teams and there is generally a waiting list.
