We are looking for local developers to join our small sites homebuilding initiative
Be part of the initiative which aims to unlock development opportunities for local small and medium enterprise developers to deliver more, much needed high-quality and affordable housing in Rotherham.
The small sites homebuilder initiative provides a fast-tracked route for developers working on sites they have secured within the Rotherham borough.
Following an application and assessment process, Rotherham Council will enter into contract with developers to forward purchase newly constructed affordable homes off-plan in staged payments for an agreed price.
The land must already be within the developer’s ownership or control or be easily acquired.
There is no closing date for the initiative. The Council welcomes applications from all developers on any current or future schemes.
