VOLUNTEERING 

We believe that involving parents and carers in shaping the services that we deliver in Rotherham is vital. We offer volunteering opportunities that help people to  develop new skills and gain confidence in pursuing a career in Childrens Services and associated organisations.

Would you like to be an voluntary member of our Family Hubs team? 

If you have time to give (as little or as much as you can give) or have/ wish to develop a specific skill set, we would love you to join us and support continuous positive outcomes for children and families in Rotherham.

Family Hubs Parent and Carer Panel 

Are you pregnant or a parent or carer of a child under the age of 2? 

We would like to invite you to join our Family Hubs Parent and Carer Panel. 

What does it involve? 

  • Sharing your views and experiences of accessing services from pregnancy and beyond  
  • Attending a group meeting 3 times a year in your local area (online or face to face)
  • Completing online surveys
  • Sharing ideas of what would make life easier for children and families  

Why should I join? 

  • Meet new people in your community 
  • Help us to ensure that babies and their families are at the centre of what we do 
  • Your feedback will be used to inform and shape the way that we work in your local area.
