Homelessness: Violence or harassment

If you do not feel safe in your home and you are thinking of leaving or have already left, then you should contact us as soon as you can.

Call the police on 999 as soon as possible if you or your children are in immediate danger, or you or your children are at risk of injury or are already injured. Call the police on 101 if you or your children are feeling threatened but are not in immediate danger.

If you are suffering from domestic abuse, then you can approach any local authority for assistance as well as use our dedicated webpage which has different support links.

If you are a private tenant and are experiencing violence or harassment from your landlord, then we have dedicated information which may help you.
