The National Databank

The National Databank is an initiative that provides free mobile data to people who need it to access essential services. The data is provided by a network of community partners, including libraries, community centres, and charities.

We want to make sure all Rotherham residents can get online so they can to do the things that benefit them everyday.

Eligibility

To access the National Databank you must be over 18 years old and from a low-income household.

You also need to meet one or more of the following criteria:

  • You have no or limited access to the internet at home
  • You have no or limited access to the internet away from the home
  • You cannot afford your monthly contract or top up A person can have access to data for up to one year.

Simply visit one of the libraries below and speak to a member of staff.
