Door sign specifications
Specification and Layout
The door sign will:
• Measure 35cm wide by 20cm high
• The words “ROTHERHAM PRIVATE HIRE VEHICLE” to be 2.5cm high and in white letters on a black background along the top of the door sign
• The words “INSURED FOR ADVANCE BOOKINGS ONLY” to be 2.0cm high and in white letters on a black background along the bottom of the door sign
• Should incorporate the trade name and logo where applicable, and the telephone number (A tolerance of +/- 1mm is applicable to all measurements detailed above)
Additional Requirements
• All door signs must be affixed to the front doors of the vehicle on both sides, either by magnetic device or adhesive
• All vehicles attached to one company must carry the same door sign and not signs of different colour or design
• The signs are to be purchased at the operators expense
• All door signs must receive approval by the Licensing Office, prior to them being introduced
