NHS Help with Health Costs

While healthcare is free on the NHS, there are some costs for some services such as prescriptions, dental and eye care.

The NHS Help with Health Costs webpage details how residents on a low-income or with certain health conditions can access support to pay for these services.

You may be able to get help with:

NHS Prescription costs

NHS Dental costs

Travel, eye care, wigs and fabric support costs

There is also specialist support for people on a low-income through the NHS Low Income Scheme.

You can also check if you have an NHS Exemption.
