Following the local elections in Rotherham on Thursday 6 May 2021 Councillors were elected to both the Dinnington borough ward and to parish councils within the borough ward boundary.
Borough ward
Sophie Castledine-Dack, Ben Whomersley and Charlie Wooding were elected as ward members for Dinnington.

Town and Parish Councils
There were also uncontested elections for Dinnington St John's Town Council, Firbeck Parish Council, Letwell Parish Council, Laughton en-le Morthern Parish Council and the Thurcroft South ward of Thurcroft Parish Council.
Dale Adams, les Clarke, Robert Cully, Steve Foster, Jean Hart, Bill Loftus, Jan Loftus, Andy Milner, Paula Russell, Gaz Shanks, Dave Smith and Pat Smith were elected to represent the Dinnington Town ward of Dinnington St John's Town Council. Steve Scotty was elected to represent the Dinnington Park Avenue ward.
Caroline Jopling, Dirk Pittard, Jo Pittard and Christopher Stanton were elected to Firebeck Parish Council.
Matthew Bell, Duncan Biggins, Alan Nettleship, Martyn Sharpe and Jenny Straw were elected to Letwell Parish Council.
Kevin Downing, Trudy Hutson, Simon Johnson, Gregory Price and Trevor Stanway were elected to Laughton-en-le-Morthern Parish Council.
Claire Alsop and Nichola Ronksley were elected to represent the Thurcroft South ward of Thurcroft Parish Council.
