How to get your vehicle released
To release your vehicle, you will need to go the pound and produce one of the following documents:
- Vehicle registration document
- Formal proof of purchase of the vehicle
And one of the following, with photographic identification:
- A valid passport
- A current UK driving licence
Plus one of the following, which must be dated within the last three months:
- Utility bill
- Benefits letter
- Telephone bill (land line only)
- Bank statement
You will also have to pay the following fees to the pound:
- The amount of the penalty charge notice (PCN) which was issued at the time the vehicle was removed
- The vehicle removal charge - £105.00
- Vehicle storage charge - £12 per day, starting at midnight of the day after removal
The pound will accept payment by cash, credit or debit card.
