What if I dispute the decision?
If you dispute the penalty charge notice, or do not agree that your vehicle should have been removed, you can submit your dispute to us after you have paid to have the vehicle released from the pound.
Your challenge must be received within 28 days of the vehicle being released. If successful, you will receive a refund of the penalty charge notice and the release fee.
What if my challenge is unsuccessful?
If your challenge is rejected, we will provide you with information on how to take your appeal further, up to and including an appeal to the Traffic Penalty Tribunal.
This is an independent organisation which considers disputed penalty charge notices.
