Notice of Revoking the Air Quality Management Area Orders
The Rotherham Borough Council (Wales M1 Air Quality Management Areas) Revocation Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that on the 9th day of September 2022 Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council propose to revoke “The Rotherham Borough Council (Air Quality Management Area) Order 2003” and the “The Rotherham Borough Council (Air Quality Management Area) Order (4) 2016” under Section 83 of the Environment Act 1995 (hereinafter called "the Act"). The Revocation of the Order comes into operation on the 9th day of September 2022 and the effect of the Revocation of the Order is to revoke the Air Quality Management Area described in the Schedule below in accordance with the provisions of the Act.
Copies of the Revocation Order and the maps referred to therein may be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council, Riverside House, Main Street, Rotherham, S60 1AE (Ref : RES AQMA (1) 2021) or online at DEFRA’s UK Air Web site, Site Information for Rotherham Centre(UKA00349) - Defra, UK
Any person wishing to question the validity of the Revocation Order or its provisions on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Act or that a requirement of that Act or of any relevant Regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in any way, may make application for this purpose to the High Court within the necessary timeframe.

All that area of land situate within the following boundary:
From the junction of Cherry Tree Road to the boundary between Nos 25 and 27 Cherry Tree Road following the boundary between the two properties then following a generally easterly direction to grid reference SK827476; then in a generally northerly direction to the junction of School Road and the track starting between No. 24 A and the United Methodist Church School Road; then in a northerly direction following the track to the far boundary of 22A School Road (SK8304760) then due west to the edge of the motorway cutting and then along the boundary of 52 and 54 School Road to the junction of School Road and Cherry Tree Road.
