Report a pothole
We're not responsible for repairing potholes on:
- Private roads - repairs should be carried out by the landowner
- Unadopted roads - repairs should be carried out by the developer, check to see if a road has been adopted
- Public Rights of Way - report a problem with a Public Right of Way
- Trunk roads, motorways, major roads - if the pothole is on a motorway or an A road as they manage by National Highways.To report a pothole on either of these roads, please visit National Highways or call them on 0300 123 5000
Not all potholes that form on our roads require immediate repair and most reported to us generally receive a lower category of priority for repair depending on their depth, position in the road and the volume of traffic using the route.
