Make a referral to the Specialist Inclusion Team

The Specialist Inclusion Team (SIT) can provide support to pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). To make a referral, you will need to download and complete two forms:

  • Specialist Inclusion Team Referral Information - This form asks for basic information about the pupil, such as their name, date of birth, and school. It also asks for information about the pupil's SEND, such as their strengths and weaknesses, and the impact of their SEND on their learning.
  • Specialist Inclusion Team Views - This form asks for the views of the pupil, school, and parent/carer on the pupil's SEND and the support they need.

Please note that both forms must be completed before the referral can be processed.

Once you have completed both forms, you can upload them to the SIT's online referral form.

The SIT will then review your referral and decide whether to offer support to the pupil. If the SIT decides to offer support, they will work with the pupil, school, and parent/carer to develop a support plan.
