Skip permits

You must get permission from the Council to use a skip on a highway

Please be aware that only a company may apply for a skip permit and not a resident.

A fee is payable per skip permit. The charges as of the 1st April 2024 are £27 permit skip permit.

Permits will only cover a maximum of 2 weeks.  Following this an additional permit will need to be applied for.

Please ensure you have read the Traffic Signs Manual as published by the Department of Transport before starting the application.
