Notice of marriage or civil partnership fee
The statutory fee for giving a notice of marriage or notice of civil partnership is £42 per person and payable at the point of booking.
For couples giving notice where one or both parties are subject to immigration control, the statutory notice fee of £57 per person is payable at the point of booking.
If you are divorced and the divorce was granted outside the UK, you will be required to pay the statutory consideration fee of either £55 or £83, depending upon the level of approval required. Some foreign divorces must be referred to the General Register Office for England and Wales for consideration for which the higher consideration fee is payable. When you book your appointment, the fee that is applicable to your circumstances will be advised and these will need to be paid at the point of booking alongside the statutory notice fees as above.
