Ceremonies at Clifton Park Museum
We offer a range of options for those who choose to celebrate their special day at Clifton Park Museum. The venue is a beautifully restored Grade II* listed building surrounded by stunning park land.
You can visit the museum during its opening hours to view the ceremony room. The museum is closed Mondays (except during school holidays). If you are planning to visit to see the room, we recommend you avoid Thursday mornings and Friday afternoons as these are busy ceremony days.
There is a choice between two ceremony types at the museum. Standard ceremonies take place on a Thursday morning and Premium ceremonies take place the rest of the time.
Both ceremonies include different choices of wording which help to personalise your ceremony to suit your individual style.
What is included in a Standard Ceremony
- Share your ceremony with a maximum of 15 guests (this includes babies and children)
- Preliminary interviews
- Entrance of bride or groom with one escort
- Choice of introduction
- Choice of ring promises
- Choice of conclusion
Please note, no music or readings are included in these ceremony
What is included in a Premium Ceremony
- Share your ceremony with a maximum of 30 guests (this includes babies and children)
- Preliminary interviews
- Entrance to pre-recorded music with bridal party (such as bridesmaids, flower girls)
- Photographer permitted for the key moments in the ceremony from a designated space
- Choices for introduction
- Inclusion of readings (it adds a personal touch if a family member of friend delivers this during the ceremony)
- Choices for marriage promises
- Choices for ring promises
- Choices of conclusion
- Pre-recorded music to be played during signing of the Marriage schedule
- Pre-recorded music to be played as couple lead guests out
Practical Information
All music, readings or any personal vows you have written must not include religious content.
A photographer is welcome in both types of ceremony to capture the key moments during your ceremony.
Neither the photographer nor the couple getting married / forming their civil partnership are included in final guest numbers
Parking
For both standard and premium ceremonies, reserved parking is given to two wedding cars for the duration of the ceremony.
For guests, parking is available in the Clifton Park car park. Please advise your guests that parking at Clifton Park is pay and display.
